Chelsea is an accomplished family law attorney with a passion for advocating on behalf of her clients. In 2014, driven by their shared passion for empowering families, Chelsea and Jessica Wood joined forces to create Wood & Long, LLC. As a co-founder, Chelsea has dedicated her career to provide unparalleled legal support and guidance to individuals and families in need.
 
Chelsea's impressive academic background is a testament to her commitment to excellence. Graduating summa cum laude and ranking third in her class from Capital University Law School, she earned her Juris Doctor with distinction. During her time at Capital, Chelsea's exceptional legal insight and skills were showcased as a member of the prestigious Capital University Law Review. Prior to her legal studies, Chelsea pursued her passion for music at Ohio University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Music History & Literature with an Honors Certificate in Flute Performance. Her dedication to academic excellence earned her magna cum laude and the Undergraduate Achievement in Music History Award.
 
Born and raised in Ohio, Chelsea now calls Bexley her home, where she resides with her loving husband and two sons. Outside the courtroom, Chelsea leads an active and fulfilling life. As an avid runner, pilates enthusiast, and roller blading aficionado, she embraces a healthy and active lifestyle. Chelsea also finds joy in giving back to the community through her charitable work, particularly her efforts to fundraise for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In her downtime, she indulges in the pleasures of reading and painting, nurturing her creative spirit.

Biography

Jessica is a founding partner and a seasoned family law attorney who brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to every case she handles. Jessica's journey in the legal field began in 2003 at Edward F. Whipps & Associates, where she honed her skills as a Legal Assistant and developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of domestic relations. In 2010, she was admitted to the Ohio Bar and became a fulltime Associate at the firm. In 2014, fueled by her passion for empowering families, Jessica joined forces with Chelsea Long to establish Wood & Long, LLC.
 
Drawing from her own personal experiences as the child of divorced parents, Jessica has dedicated her legal career to helping families find amicable resolutions. While she believes in striving for the best possible outcomes, she also recognizes that some cases demand a preparedness to navigate through even the most challenging and adversarial situations. With her "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" mindset, Jessica approaches each case with a delicate balance of seeking agreeable solutions and delivering effective advocacy when faced with combative opposition. Her comprehensive expertise covers a wide range of family law matters, including dissolutions, complex divorces, custody battles (representing both mothers and fathers), spousal and child support enforcement, defense, and modification, and civil protection order defense and prosecution. Her unwavering dedication to her clients has taken her across Ohio, handling cases in various counties such as Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hardin, Licking, Pickaway, Perry, Richland, and Union.
 
Outside the realm of law, Jessica cherishes the precious moments spent with her husband and two sons, as well as their close-knit circle of friends. She also finds fulfillment in giving back to the community through her extensive volunteer work. For over ten years, she has been an active volunteer for the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio, making a significant impact in the lives of survivors.

Brandy A. Wyatt

Associate Family Law Attorney

Biography

Brandy graduated cum laude from Capital University Law School, where she attended as a night student so she could work as a full-time law clerk during the course of her education. While in law school Brandy taught a semester of Constitutional Law to high school students at Columbus City Schools through the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. She competed in Washington D.C. as a member of the Moot Court National Team, for which she was awarded the Order of Barristers, and was a Columbus Legal Aid Society volunteer. During her final year of law school, Brandy participated in the student legal clinic, where she gained her first experience in family law.
 
Brandy attended Shawnee State University on a full academic scholarship, earning a bachelor’s degree in English with honors.
 
Prior to her career as a lawyer, Brandy was an award-winning newspaper journalist. She was a Kiplinger Fellow in Public Affairs Journalism at The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs. Her work has been honored by the Associated Press and the Brown Publishing Company. 
 
Family law is the primary focus of Brandy’s career because she believes these cases lead to better futures for families and children. Brandy has experience in divorces, custody disputes, and dissolutions in multiple counties throughout Central Ohio.
 
Brandy was raised in Southern Ohio, the daughter of a Kindergarten teacher. She lives in Columbus with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. In her free time, Brandy is an avid reader and enjoys kickboxing.

Riley B. Wnorowski

Biography

Riley received her Juris Doctor from CUNY School of Law, where she maintained a 3.7 GPA. Prior to law school, Riley graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, Global Campus, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Continuing her education after law school, Riley graduated magna cum laude from Franklin University with a second Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences.
 
Riley’s passion for family law began early in her life as a child of divorced parents. Prior to joining our firm, Riley focused on family defense, family reunification, and protection for survivors of domestic violence. As an associate attorney at Wood & Long, LLC, she brings her education, experience, and passion to ensure her clients receive the highest level of advocacy and support.
 
Riley was born in Ohio. While serving in the United States Marine Corps, she lived in North Carolina, California, New York, and Okinawa, Japan. Riley moved back to Ohio with her husband and now resides in Bexley with their hairless cat, Yoda. Outside the office, Riley enjoys weight-lifting, doing creative eye makeup, reading, and crocheting.

Kelsi Robinson

Associate Family Law Attorney

Biography

Kelsi Robinson, a graduate of Capital University Law School, is a dedicated attorney with a commitment to child welfare and family law. During her time at law school, Kelsi excelled as a Moot Court advocate during her second and third years, ultimately serving as the Co-Chief Justice of the Moot Court program. Her passion for children and family law deepened as she participated in the Child Welfare & Adoption Law Moot Court team, and she earned the prestigious Order of Barristers when competing with the National ABA Moot Court Team in Brooklyn, New York.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Kelsi earned her bachelor's degree in American History with a minor in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked as a Community Health Worker and Community Organizer, engaging in various campaigns and community initiatives. She believes in the power of relationships to create positive change, especially in underserved communities. Kelsi also serves on the board of Butterfly of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential mental health resources to local students.

In her free time, Kelsi enjoys spending quality moments with her husband, Dan, and their three rescue cats, Ophelia, MacDuff, and Rosencrantz (loving called Rosie). Her interests outside of the office include baking, plant care, crafting cocktails, and indulging in all things Bravo.
